end of the boating season fast approaches it is time to start thinking about the important steps we need to take over the winter months to best protect our

pride and joy. The time and effort we invest out of season not only stands us in good stead for the

following season....it can also save us a lot of time and money. In particular, you should remember that often insurance policies won't pay out on damage caused by lack of maintenance or neglect. So why not prepare now....

Draw up a checklist of everything you need to be doing and thinking about like.... 

 

1. Planning to get your boat out of the water

2. Having it securely stored and made ready for winter

3. Drawing up a plan of works and maintenance you

    want to carry out....and prioritising.

4. Having an action plan and timetable

5. Check your boats owner manuals for maintenance

    recommendations.
