The 7.6m Lightweight mast is the correct choice when a free standing mast is required and the antenna load will fall within the suggested limits. As there is only a 2 pulley tiltover system of mast operation, an excess load can be applied to the cable if the head load is too great.
This mast is intended for installation in the grounds of a bungalow or similar where overall height is either a constraint or not needed.
It is fine for lightweight VHF and / or HF antennas.
The 9.2m mast is built similarly to the 7.6m model but due to it having a 4 pulley system of operation, it is capable of lifting a slightly heavier load of antennas. With it being 1.6m taller it gives more scope for VHF operation and extra elevation of the antennas.
