12/15m Heavy Duty Tilting Utility Mast

We can make this type of mast to meet customer needs. The one illustrated is being used both as a navigation light and floodlights. Many of this type have been adapted for purposes ranging from lightweight floodlighting and communications to major installations of floodlighting of commercial yards, PA systems and a wide range of additional applications.

Material

Ground Post 180 x 180 x 6.3 RHS.
Mast 180 x 180 x 6.3 RHS reducing in sections to 76.1 CHS.

Construction and Finish

Welded using MIG. Process.
Hot Dip Galvanised to ISO 1461.

Quality

Controlled by our "in house" quality procedures.

Head load Capacity

2 off Lights with an area of 1200 x 400mm gives a survival of 1.9:1 FOS with a W/S of 160Kph. Conforms to BS 6399.

Winch

Removable DL1500 lbs Friction Braked Winch complete with cable.
The mast is fitted with a 4-pulley tilt system for ease of operation by one person.

Mounting

Base plate 600 x 600mm - secured in foundation by 4 off 22mm dia anchor bolts embedded in 1.5m x 1.5m x 1m deep 20Nm concrete.

Extras

An electrical terminal box can be supplied at additional cost if required. All cabling accessible through base of post. The cable transfers between post and mast below the hinge position.
A suitable Mounting for either lights or antennas can be constructed to meet customer needs. If operational requirements dictate, Frangibility can be built in.
